The Impact of Alzheimer's Disease in Estate Planning

LuAnn (Pollock) Lundquist graduated from Dixie College and Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social and Behavioral Science and a minor in Anthropology.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was listed on the National Dean’s Honor Roll. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
LuAnn is licensed as a Therapeutic Recreation Technician and is Master Trainer for Maintain Your Brain and Foundations of Dementia Care. She has served as an Aging Services Caregiver Council Member since 2005.
She is past Regional Manager and Education Coordinator for the Utah chapter of a national non-profit serving mostly seniors with dementia.
When the national Alzheimer’s Association closed the Southern Utah for a time, LuAnn could not imagine this area without Alzheimer’s support so she founded and is the owner and Program Director for Southern Utah’s Alzheimer’s and Dementia Society. The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Society has a local focus and is dedicated to supporting the needs of this area. She also is a Recreation Manager for Coral Desert Rehabilitation.
LuAnn has a passion for serving the families of and those effected with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. She demonstrated that caring compassion serving as an in-home caregiver for 3 years for her father-in-law, who suffered from Alzheimer’s. In addition to her training and experience, she knows hands-on the impact this disease can have can have on a family.
She resides in New Harmony with her husband Kurt and after raising her own family, now enjoys spending time with her eight grandsons.
